Mopria has developed industry standard technology that helps users print straight from their Android devices. Most recently, Mopria has developed a scanning app that helps users scan straight to their Android devices.
How is your company advancing mobile printing and educating mobile users?
Epson supports industry standard protocols that make printing easy from any device. In the Americas, Epson has a website dedicated to mobile printing solutions, Epson.com/connect, that help our users discover Epson’s mobile printing and scanning solutions.
What are the challenges users experience with printing and how can Mopria help solve those?
- Connectivity: Mopria helps drive industry standard methods of printing and scanning to and from devices.
- Ease of Use: Mopria drives adoption of technology that enables users to print without download and installation of any special drivers.

What Mopria Alliance accomplishment are you most proud of and why?
Mopria has made printing from your Android mobile device easy. Having an industry standard that spans multiple printer brands AND driving significant adoption of the service is significant.
Mopria Print technology is also installed in over 2 billion devices. Mopria is the Default Print Service for Android 8 and above, which provides convenient, intuitive printing with automatic printer discovery of more than 4,000 models and 120 million deployed Mopria certified printers.
